    Automatic segmentation

    By defining individual cuts or cutting areas, you can perform one or more osteotomies and move or rotate the resected areas as required. All dimensions are automatically adjusted and thus reflect the new situation after correction.

    In this way, different scenarios can be simulated and tried out to achieve the optimal result for the patient.

    Automatic dimensioning

    With previously automatically segmented CT scans, you can have a variety of classic measurements performed and logged automatically.

    Sagittal Balance

    With the Sagittal Balance feature, you can easily and quickly measure and assess the patient’s alignment with the help of a guided workflow. All necessary and important measurements are available for this purpose. It is also possible to simulate corrections, whereby the initial measurement results adapt according to your correction. In this way, you can simulate possible corrective measures and prepare yourself in the best possible way for the upcoming surgery.

    Pedicle screws and implants

    The screw wizard allows you to select different screw types and lengths. For segmented 3D models, you can additionally select both the desired vertebra and the pedicle side.

    Spondylodesis

    The possibility of viewing the screw and rod seat in the glass view, allows an ideal visual assessment of the seat of simulated screws and implants.

    Visualization

    Every image and every plan is different and pursues a different objective or requires a different approach. Therefore, it is sometimes necessary to display the image data according to different aspects. mediCAD® 3D Spine offers you a wide variety of visualization displays for this purpose.
