Within WOM, you can directly click on the desired sub-module – for example, FAI in the Hip module – and commence planning immediately.

Creating Personalized Workflows

Clients using mediCAD 7.0 can now design their own workflows using the wizard for the Hip, Knee, and Osteotomy modules, tailoring planning according to personal preferences and patient-specific requirements. For knee specialists, mediCAD 7.0 offers unique innovations that effectively complement knee endoprosthesis capabilities. Through measuring the Tibial Slope according to Dejour and correcting it with an anterior closing osteotomy, for instance, the ACL can be relieved to prevent an anterior cruciate ligament rupture. Furthermore, with the Partial Knee module, prosthetic planning can now be executed using a partial knee X-ray. Of course, the option to plan a knee prosthesis using a full-leg X-ray still remains.

mediCAD’s principle is to deliver high-quality measurement results in a short time. This is achieved through additional automations that independently calculate desired values based on placed landmarks. An innovation is the automatic calculation of wedge heights in open and closed wedge osteotomies. Additionally, ML hip X-rays can now be conveniently used in Autoplan.

An upgrade to mediCAD 7.0 includes the 3D Hip module at no additional cost. Easily switch between 2D and 3D hips, depending on case complexity.
